Medical Reserve Corp.

The Allegany County Medical Reserve Corps’ (MRC) purpose is to recruit and train health care and community volunteers to respond to disasters and public health emergencies. A program of the Western Maryland Area Health Education Center, the MRC is guided by a local advisory committee of key emergency response stakeholders from public health, government emergency services, hospitals, volunteer centers, and community and faith-based organizations.
