RSVP Program
What is RSVP?
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) was launched in 1971 as a bold response to the realities of an aging America. RSVP is a simple, yet powerful means of engaging older Americans in Community Service after they have left the work force. Whether teaching children to read, helping at a blood drive, or providing much needed support to non-profit agencies. RSVP volunteers are making their communities stronger! Getting involved is the key to RSVP. Your hard work can solve problems, and you'll get back even more than you give.
Who qualifies for RSVP?
Anyone 55 or older is eligible to become an RSVP volunteer, whatever level of education, experience, or income. Volunteers must be willing to serve on a regular basis. All volunteers qualify for supplemental accident and liability insurance while volunteering.
